Concept build
Ledgerly: a fintech site you can do the maths on.
A marketing site for a fictional invoicing app for freelancers, built around a payment-split calculator.
- Type
- Fintech for freelancers
- Stack
- Next.js 15, React 19, Tailwind, Framer Motion
- Scope
- Home, pricing, blog, legal
- Year
- 2026

The brief
Freelancers get paid, then guess how much to set aside for tax. The site needed to show the answer, not describe it.
What I built
Payment split
Drag a payment from $500 to $20,000, change currency, edit the percentages. It always totals 100% and allocates to the cent.
Receipt design language
Zig-zag receipt cards, dotted leader lines, mono figures and a rubber-stamp PAID, carried from hero to 404.
Real content
Six blog posts, two legal pages, FAQs and plans, all stored as typed data.
Accessible widgets
Keyboard-operable tabs and accordions; the marquee and carousel become static grids for reduced motion.
The hard part
Rounding. Splitting $4,200.01 three ways at 60/25/15 must still add up exactly, so the last cent goes to the largest share.
- 6 blog posts
- 40+ currencies in the demo
- CSS-variable theme

Let's build something that works.
Book a 15-minute call. You'll leave with a clear plan and a price, even if you don't hire me.
I read and answer every enquiry myself, usually the same day.
